Week 3, July 1-5


Camp Discovery: Creative Crafting
Age 4-5
Come join the fun with lots of craft ideas. We will be tie dying, beading, sculpting with clay, painting, gluing and, of course, making paper crafts. We will extend our creativity to include making and eating some fun afternoon snacks. On Friday, we will celebrate with a water day outside on the playground. Let’s get crafting!

Marvelous Math
Age 6-9
Campers with engage in a wide variety of math games and activities to enhance their math skills. Activities will be designed to encourage exploration and stimulate problem solving skills. Campers will participate in mini lessons and stations to improve their mathematical capabilities in a positive and supportive environment.

Summer Blast!
Ages 6-9
Like to be active? Come have a ton of fun at Duke School’s Summer Blast Camp! Join us for a week of group games, card games, board games, creating crafts, art projects, and baking yummy treats. We'll also find time to explore the nearby trails of Duke Forest, and cool off in the creek when it gets hot!

Sports Variety
Ages 6-9
Get in the game! Sports Variety camp offers an assortment of positive sports experiences for your child while also emphasizing good sportsmanship, developing good character, the value of regular exercise, and the importance of working together as a team. Campers will venture off campus for some more adventures that may include trips to Jordan Lake, bowling, Triangle Sportsplex, and others. Campers will have a memorable week both indoors and out!

Adventures in Art: Mixed-Media Exploration
Age 8-10
During this camp, each day will be a creative exploration of a specific art medium: drawing, painting, ceramics, printmaking, sculpture, and/or collage. Each of these media offers wonderful opportunities for artistic exploration and children love to get their hands on a wide variety of materials.  We will look at examples from art history to provide inspiration for our projects and we will put our work on display in an art show for parents and other campers at the end of the week.

NC Adventures
Ages 9-15
A different North Carolina adventure every day! Our travels might take us to cool North Carolina sites such as West Point on the Eno, swimming at Jordan Lake, a Durham Bulls game, rock climbing, fun playing games, and sports at Duke School, or somewhere else! Each day is a new excursion and a new adventure. Join us!

Mark it Up: Art with Marki
Ages 10-15
Spend an amazing week with art teacher extraordinaire Marki Watson. Delve into new materials, skills, techniques, and much more. We will work in a variety of mediums, including sculpting clay, polymer clay, printing, and bookmaking, to name a few. Campers will have the opportunity to elaborate on existing projects and explore new ones. Don’t miss this opportunity to follow your artistic muse in a relaxed and creative environment!
