Parent School Organization

Parents are the backbone of Duke School, serving our community in countless ways and ensuring bright futures for our children. All parents are members of Duke School's Parent School Organization (PSO)!

Duke School's success is largely due to the extraordinary parents who volunteer to support events and programs throughout the school year.

Volunteering, in addition to providing enormous benefits to Duke School, also provides parents with opportunities to be involved in the Duke School community, meet other parents, and get to know the school in new ways.

The PSO is looking for volunteers to help with different committees this year.  Please email the committee leads for more information!  We would love to have you!

One of our most important committees is Duke School's PSO L.I.F.E. (Learning, Inclusion, Family, Equity & Empowerment) Committee. The L.I.F.E. Committee members serve as ambassadors, advocates, and learners to ensure a culturally competent and inclusive Duke School community.

In addition to events (to be announced) in the upcoming school year, we will be holding recurring conversation groups to discuss topics regarding diversity in our community. All parents are welcome and encouraged to join a conversation. To get involved or for questions, email Kimberly Shaw.
