Giving to Duke School

Most independent schools rely upon additional revenue to cover the costs of delivering an outstanding educational experience, and Duke School is no exception. Offering a dynamic hands-on learning environment staffed by dedicated and experienced teachers requires resources beyond tuition. Duke School relies upon the support and involvement of our entire community (trustees, faculty and staff, parents, grandparents, alumni and alumni families) through a coordinated series of fundraising activities. Gifts to the following programs, the annual fund, online auction and the live auction in the spring, play different but critical roles in supporting the educational program and in realizing Duke School’s mission.   The development program’s mission is to support the students, faculty and staff, administration and curriculum of Duke School by securing non-tuition based financial support from the school community and from others who wish to advance Duke School’s mission.
